Some of the most famous names in Formula One® history return to F1 Clash®! Players will be able to race with many more Legendary Drivers as well as unlock them across multiple methods and much more. Keep reading to find out how Legendary Drivers are changing for the 2024 Season of F1 Clash®.

The Drivers

The 2023 Season of F1 Clash® saw 8 of the greatest names in Formula One® join the roster of playable Drivers available to Players and now the 2024 Season will see those names return as well as many more. On the initial return of Legendary Drivers this season, 15 drivers will be available for Players to unlock across various methods. From Jenson Button to Jackie Stewart to Ayrton Senna; Players will have a the opportunity to utilise the Legends of Formula One®.

How to Unlock Them

The original introduction of Legendary Drivers, limited to only unlocking them via Collection Milestones, left many Players unable to experience the power of some of the best names in Formula One®. With additional Legendary Drivers comes additional ways to also unlock these Assets. Collection Milestones are returning, allowing Players to receive various rewards by unlocking and upgrading their existing Assets including Legendary Drivers. Additionally, Legendary Drivers will also be able to be received via various Crates and included in the Pit Pass.

Similar to last Season; these Drivers are available to use during participating Grand Prix™ Events and limited to specific Event Tiers. Those specific Event Tiers are seen on each Legendary Driver card.

Upgrades

Previously, Legendary Drivers were unable to be upgraded; resulting in many of them becoming obsolete in a Player’s progress through the Series and higher Assets that were eventually stronger than those Drivers.

To allow Players to utilise these Drivers for longer and be valuable Assets in their Driver line-up; Legendary Drivers can now be upgraded. Upgrades will increase each Legendary Drivers stats, allowing Players to continue to be competitive with their favourite Drivers. Upgrades will require additional Legendary Driver cards, Coins as well as the new Legacy Points.

Legacy Points

Upgrading Legendary Drivers helps increase their effectiveness during races allowing Players to utilise them, and be competitive, for longer. Once a Player has enough cards to upgrade a Legendary Driver, the upgrade process is similar to upgrading other Drivers although will require Coins as well as Legacy Points.

Legacy Points are a unique currency reserved for upgrading Legendary Drivers. Players will be able to find Legacy Points in Collection Milestones, within Pit Pass, received from some Crates as well as available via Store Offers.

Season Score

The 2024 Season Score will now include the unlocking and upgrading of Legendary Drivers as part of the achievements improving a Players Season Score. A higher Season Score will provide Players with additional benefits when beginning the future 2025 Season of F1 Clash®. The higher the Season Score, the more benefits and advantage Players can expect to receive.

At the end of each Season, these unlocked Legendary Drivers will be added to a Players Hall of Fame, similar to all other unlocked Drivers from the Season.
